I’m not going to lie, it was really hard to come to terms with living in Scotland after spending 9months in Miami.
That place is like a heaven, and coming back to the bad weather was really hard to take.
Obviously everyone has their own interests but mine revolve around sport, nightclubs, beaches, good weather and business opportunities and in Miami all my intersests were satisfied.
It was definately good to come back and see family and friends that I hadn’t seen in so long which makes the transition period easier but i found myself always looking at pictures of my year abroad and wishing i was there.
I think the best advice i got was that that part of my life was over and you just have to remember it for what it was and not live in the past – you know have to look forward to the next adventure.
It is a difficult transition period but it’s a small price to pay for the best year of my life.
Take it easy

I completely empathise, i’ve been back from Canada a week and am already trying to devise a way to return.
Maybe this will happen maybe not…onwards and upwards right? The point is the memories are for keeps even if life moves on.
Was glad to know i’m not the only one feeling this way,
Thanks
